AUDI DESIGN - TOP 5

Since Audi has decided to make so clearly known just how it is it turns out good-looking vehicles - most of the time - and since a gallery of Audi Avant images just went up on GoodCarBadCar.net, doesn't it seem like a ranking of Audi design is about due? Well, here it is: the Top 5 Current Audi Designs.

-----

#5 - AUDI Q5: Proving the Q7 to be a lapse, the Q5 is only just large enough and masks even that size quite well. Contrasted with the competition, the Q5 looks even better than it does by its lonesome.

#4 - AUDI A4: In a segment where genuine performance credentials matter far more than one might think, the effort to make the A4 a dynamic force (lengthening wheelbase; rearward drive bias; improved engine placement) results in a better looking car.

#3 - AUDI RS6 AVANT: Hard-boiled aggression mixes with flowing lines and not-so-small an air of pure functionality to make the RS6 one of, if not the best-looking large wagons in production.

#2 - AUDI S5: Pictures don't tell the whole story. Long, low and lean, the A5-based S5 looks like its pricetag should be dearer than Audi actually commands.

#1 - AUDI TTS Coupe: Slight disappointment on first arrival has dissipated in the light of longer exposure for the second-generation TT. This Good 12 winning Audi, in hi-po form, is probably better than ever.
